Treatment Profile: Clear Aligners & Invisalign®

Clear aligners and Invisalign® are custom made with transparent material for a comfortable fit. The aligners are removable and you’ll be able to eat and brush your teeth normally throughout the treatment.

Before treatment starts, using 3D imaging technology, we’ll be able to show you a digital representation of how your teeth should look after completed treatment. It can take anywhere from a few months to a few years depending on the individual. Before you start we’ll use scans to predict movement timelines and determine needs.

We work with different aligner brands including Invisalign® and Reveal®. One may be a better option than the other depending on your plan. For example, with Reveal you can whiten teeth during treatment and they also don’t pick up stains as much as some other brands.

Clear aligners are great for tipping teeth forward/back and closing spaces, in some cases where rotation of the tooth is needed, fixed braces may be necessary. Dr Julia will discuss the options and costs with you at your consultation.

We only do adult orthodontics. You can decide between fixed or removable braces depending on your individual case and preference.
