Introducing Emotional Processing and Psychotherapy at the Door W4

The Door W4 is pleased to be introducing Emotional Processing & Psychotherapy to the range of total wellbeing treatments it offers. Starting Emotional Processing or Psychotherapy is undoubtedly one of the most powerful decisions you can make as addressing your mental health and your inner world has a ripple effect throughout your life. At a time when there is shortage of effective psychotherapy available, we are thrilled that Emily will be offering sessions with us on Tuesdays.

Emily Pailthorpe delivers effect, results-focused psychotherapy and emotional processing which empowers clients to process their emotion, regain their energy and feel like themselves again.

Emily is holding a special discovery day on Jan 23, 2024 at The Door where you can book a free 20-minute exploration meeting with her. Call 020 8742 8822 to book your free meeting.

"I have seen how much carrying unprocessed emotion can cost us, and I understand how easy it is to fall out of sync with ourselves and not know why. I want to empower my clients to process their emotion so they can regain their energy and be restored to themselves again."

In-Person Therapy

In-person therapy is a safe space to explore unspoken feelings - for us to look together at what unprocessed emotion may be impacting your day to day life and how we can bring you relief. The beautiful, quiet and welcoming space at the Door W4 provides the perfect space for therapy. Clients have described The Door as a haven, a welcoming refuge, and look forward to their time in its beautifully appointed space when they attend their sessions.

Upon arrival at The Door you will be greeted in the reception with the offer of a hot or cold drink and the room in which you will have your therapy has large windows and skylights with outlooks into the surrounding greenery.

What Can I Expect?

You can expect to feel better. And also not to have any expectations imposed upon you. All Emily’s therapy is at a pace guided by the client.

Many clients come to me with life problems which seem insurmountable; and yet I have seen - time and time again- that when we step back together and unpick just how reality isn't matching their ideals, we find the answers to the problems actually lie within the client themselves - and therefore, within their control.” - Emily Pailthorpe

For some individuals, having space and guidance to explore their experience is all that is needed to feel a weight lifted from them. For others - particularly those who have experienced deep trauma - specialist Emotional Processing techniques Emily uses, such as Integral Eye Movement Therapy, Mindscaping and Internal Family Systems

Therapy can be the key to relief, healing and transformation. The integrative, bespoke therapy Emily delivers is gentle, yet powerful.
