Presented by campaigner and activist Jono Lancaster, the series follows individuals seeking to improve their confidence through a range of facial aesthetic treatments and procedures, delivered by top UK clinicians at a specialist clinic in Yorkshire.
In Episode 1, Miss Natasha Berridge met with Mia R from North Wales, who was seeking a more feminine facial appearance. Assigned male at birth, Mia had long struggled with the disconnect between how she looked and how she felt inside.
Despite taking steps in her transition, including hormone therapy, she still felt uncomfortable being seen in public, as her facial features didn’t yet reflect how she saw herself.
