Gina Sigobodhla’s story delves into the impact of childbirth, loss and the subsequent challenges of intimate health. Before her treatment, Gina felt "If there’s one thing I could change in my life, it’s my vagina. Since having children I’m no longer the same person" - a sentiment shared by many women.
Gina vividly recalls her first childbirth in 2004, a spontaneous vaginal delivery resulting in a third-degree tear and a lengthy recovery. Despite receiving guidance on pelvic floor exercises, Gina admits, "I didn’t really understand," something that many women can likely relate to.

Tragically, one of the twins, Ryan, passed away at just four months old, amplifying Gina's emotional and physical challenges. Subsequent childbirths exacerbated her symptoms, leading to urinary issues, disrupted sleep, and a significant impact on her sex life.
Despite seeking medical assistance, Gina faced judgement based on her BMI. She shares, "I left feeling fed up and like there was nowhere else to turn." Something that many other women have also experienced when visiting their healthcare professional about their intimate health.
