Scarring
Scarring can be unsightly and concerning and usually occurs when the skin has received some sort of trauma. This could be due to several factors such as acne, chicken pox, self-harm, accidental cuts and grazes, surgery and burns. Before your treatment our highly experienced therapist or doctor will consult with you and discuss your skin concerns, together we will tailor make a treatment that best suits you and your skin. We will scan your skin and take images using our state-of-the-art skin scanning system, so we can get a clear picture of your journey and progress.
During the treatment you may feel some slight discomfort as the treatment is partially ablative, however this will be mild and manageable. Anaesthetic is not required and the treatment itself is fast and can even be done on your lunch break.
After the treatment the skin may feel warm for a few days like a sunburn. There is some mild downtime with this treatment; you may experience redness and flaking of the skin over the week following your session. As your collagen stimulates you will notice your skin will feel soft, tighter, plumper and scars will start to reduce.
